For the 12th consecutive season, the quest for the Red Bull Air Race World Championship will kick off at 370 km/h above the crystal-blue waters of Abu Dhabi’s famous Corniche. In what has become a traditional highlight on the racing calendar, the motorsport-loving capital of the Emirates will welcome the high-speed, low-altitude action on February 8-9.
The season opener in Abu Dhabi will be the first time to see the 2018 World Champion Martin Šonka of the Czech Republic taking on 13 of the world’s best Air Race pilots in the campaign to defend his title.
